….the lows of owning a small business in New York City; high rent and taxes, a fire that forced them to move the store to West Broadway for a time, Super Storms, and a very scary cancer and heart failure diagnosis, for Gary. Jolie who is always a bundle of smiles and who is always standing, underwent vascular surgery 4 yrs ago. “it’s part of the retail world, you come in and if you have time to sit you feel like something is wrong”…
